The StepUp building is Codic’s first development in Barcelona, the ultimate European pole for technology and innovation.
It is located in the Gloriès Tower area, in the district called “22@Barcelona”, a booming multifunctional district privileged by its extraordinary urban and metropolitan centrality, articulated around the Diagonal and Meridiana avenues.
StepUp is an office building consisting of 7 above ground floors and two underground parking floors allowing to accommodate 35 cars and more than 60 two wheeled vehicles, thus facilitating the urban travels.
The project, designed by BCA Architects, benefits from an exceptional architecture. The building is dressed in a ceramic mantle which opens up in the places where light is required and which protects the building from the heat of the sun while filtering the urban light.
Breathing a creative atmosphere in a dynamic environment, the building has been designed to achieve an optimal hygienic level. Its equipment includes a.o. contactless accesses, thermal cameras, opening windows and an optimal filtering of the ambient air. It offers terraces on the roof and the ground floor allowing for working in open air.
Project financed by Banco Sabadell
